For all Planning Permit Applications you are require to attach a Copy of title, which can be obtain from Land Data.

| Pre Application | Pre-application advice. Request advice about a proposal before an application is lodged. A written response is provided within 10 business days. |
| Medium Density Housing | This includes all unit development in residential zones. |
| Mixed Use Development | This includes all development (including any associated use component) which has both a commercial and residential component. |
| Change of Use | This includes applications for:
A new use
A request to waive or reduce car parking requirements associated with an existing or a new use |
| Single Dwelling Development | This includes applications for:
Construction or extension to dwellings on a lot with an area less than 300m2.
Demolition, construction, extension or alteration to dwellings in a Heritage Overlay.
The construction or extension to dwellings in a Special Building Overlay. |
| Advertising Signs | These are applications for Signage only. |
| Non Residential Development | This type includes all non-residential development business, industrial, etc. If your non residential development also contains a use component (such as a request to reduce or waive car parking) you can also submit the combined development/use application through this type. |
| Tree Removal | This includes all applications for the removal, destruction or lopping of vegetation under the Vegetation Protection Overlay, Environmental Significance Overlay or Clause 52.17 (Native Vegetation) of the Darebin Planning Scheme |
| Additional information for an existing application | This type can only be used to submit further information relating to an existing application for planning permit. This includes responses to requests for further information, Section 50 amendments or revised plans and documents.
This type cannot be used to submit any new applications whether they are for amendments to existing Planning Permits (under Section 72 or Secondary Consent) Condition Plans, Extensions of Time, Section 57A amendments and the like. |
